4 axle dumper truck

One of my dream models was the Mercedes 4 axle 3-side dumper truck, typically used at construction sites. The model has two difficulties. #1 is a tipping device for the dumper, which has to allow movement in both left/right and forward/backward direction. This is neccesary to tip the dumper in 3 directions - left, right, backwards. In an original dumper truck a telescope hydraulic cylinder is used. You can also buy a mini hydraulic system with such a cylinder at "Leimbach" - see link-page, but it is also possible, to build a thread spindle like I did. That helped me with problem #2. With respect to 4 axles and a built-in gearbox with 3 gears to need to use the space very wisely to built in all the stuff you will need for this truck. I have used a small motor as you can see on the fotos and a mini hydraulic system will need a motor, a pump and a tank.
This model makes so much fun to drive, that it became my absolute favorit. It also looks great in the rough environment of a gravel pit, where I shot the pictures.
The original truck on the photo is not the "big brother" of my model (#38), but its twin #39. I could not my a photo like this from my truck.
